Refugee Camp - "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me. I lift my arms beside the red gate."
==================================
The Refugee Camp game site is a low FPS airsoft game site designed for jungle simulation warfare. Within the play field are two camps; Kampo Gwapo and Kampo Tumbang Troso.
Kampo Gwapo (Good-looking Camp)
Fortified and Formidable. Unconquerable!
A base station situated on a basketball court eaten away by the jungle and now transformed to a base. It features a check-point, 2 barricade walls, and a gunner tower.
Kampo Tumbang Troso (Fallen-log Camp)
On fallen logs is where the vipers rest. Our snake pit!
A guerilla base fashioned out of a fallen log. Minimal fortification of timber and tarpulins, a base that is sure to test any good teams resolve.
=================================
History
Refugee Camp was conceptualized last January 2009. It was first decided to make the gamesite private for our then team. Around March, the founders decided to form a new group consisting of close friends only and make it a close-nit group of friends. Numbers were never a factor for enjoyment, and these friends would make a gamesite mangement their primary goal.
The property was owned by Dahong Palay and BigBoa so anything inside is a playground for the 1 hectare banana and jungle area. Krait provided the lumber for use on the site. Zuma, Ulupong, and Ahas2Log were able to scour for used rubber tires. DahongPalay and BigBoa some coco lumber and nails.
Muscle power were provided by KingKobra, Tuklaw, Krait, DahongPalay, Zuma, and Ahas2log. They hammered, dug, poured blood, sweat and tears into transforming the gamesite to what it is today.
And we're still wondering what Mamba is doing besides the immoral support. HAHAHAHA
